40th Post - Social Media

 For the record, I HATE Social Media, but it's become a cancer we all just tolerate now I guess... Facebook is a toilet! Seriously though Facebook is honesty all about $$$$$ and how much money they can generate using it's user base and algorithms to get clicks and suck you in even deeper. The whole idea behind the algorithm is to get the user worked up basically and make you angry and lead you down the rabbit hole... It's really kind of evil when you think about it, is it not? It's all about profits in the end, it's not really about the social experience and bringing us together its about dividing us and seperating us further apart from each other, not really the social experience they say they deliever to us! 

Hence the reason why I hate it. It's become a social norm all over the world though to get your information from Facebook though, it's really kind of sad in some ways especially due to misinformation being spread online! Trolls and hateful people seem to love social media though, it's a place where they can spread lies and non truths to the masses and people actually believe some of this shit and it makes me sad that people actually fall for this nonsense... 

That's just reinforcing the idea that when you read something online you need to take it with a grain of salt for what it is really, not everything online and what you read is 100% truth, usually there's always a money seeking aspect, an element of greed that's driving the behaviour of people online, it's sad. The square root of all evil, the lust for power, greed, and my addition a dash of popularity steming from how you get your respect (that's been covered in an earlier post).

I'm not going to slam all of social media, I'm just going off what I know about happening right now online and doing my best to spread the truth about what I do know going on. Personally I like Reddit for the record but I don't dive too deep into it, Reddit is more informal than regular social media and I like that about it. 

Facebook isn't as secure as I thought it might be, even using a security key to lock down my account and a strong password hasn't been enough to deter hackers from gaining access into the account, that should be alarming to Facebook users 100%! I deleted my account a while back when I downloaded my data and found that someone was posting inappropriate stuff into my news feed, but I came back once again thinking maybe Facebook was more secure now given I let some time go by but the internet has proven to me it's not secure as I thought, someone is still gaining access into the system. Not to mention this blog was at one point even posted on Facebook by the Zuck himself, that should be alarming because he didn't read the blog before posting it hahaha jokes on him RIGHT! And that's what I'm talking about, it's all about $$$ and the Zuck is probably kicking his own ass right now for making such a stupid mistake on behalf of Facebook, let it be known the internet will never forget that... The internet is basically forever...

39th Post - Taking a bite out of a Crime!

Part of this blog and writing it is to expose a larger problem faced here that might not be as transparent to see firsthand but my goal is to chip away at the larger criminal aspect of my findings and expose the truth behind what's really going on. One of the things I have noted about is I have found traces of JavaScript mining happening within the browser! I found a .js file label "cryptomining" with the web developer settings turned on, now I can read but I'm not fluent in any specific language of programming haha I actually failed at writing a JavaScript app for a mortgage calculator and kept getting "NaN" as my result (didn't help the college was teaching it in Notepad basically)! This is something to keep eyes on that's for sure, in due time it will become more clear as more people stay vigilant online. 38th Post - How do you get your "Respect"?

  The square root of all evil, the lust for power, greed and my addition the aspect of popularity which depends on what form of respect you choose. In my eyes there's two forms of respect, fear based that's instilled into the masses for fear something bad could happen to them or there's the good healthy respect that's hard earned over time through trust and honesty and integrity. Personally, I like the idea better for the good healthy respect because it feels better mentally knowing you were genuine and sincere and the respect was rightfully earned the RIGHT way the first time.
